The story behind AEMA
AEMA seeks to bridge the gap between education and professional success by connecting young talent with established industry professionals, studios, and technology providers. We understand the importance of nurturing the next generation of motion designers, and we are committed to providing them with the opportunities, resources, and support they need to excel in their careers.
The awards program
Our annual awards program honors outstanding achievements in various categories, including 2D Motion, 3D Motion, Mixed Media / Experimental, and Student Work. Through a rigorous selection and judging process, we identify and celebrate the most innovative and creative motion design projects, showcasing the incredible talent and potential of our emerging artists.
AEMA seeks out sponsorships from a variety of stakeholders in the local motion design and animation industry to enable these awards.

AEMA operates on the land of the Gadigal People of the Eora Nation.
